The Tirumala Tirupati Devastanam (TTD) has decided not to issue Divya Darshan tokens on three days during the Brahmotsavams of Lord Sri Venkateswara Swamy scheduled to commence on Saturday.

The TTD management has decided to suspend issuance of Divya Darshan tokens on September 23, 27 and 30 in view of Garudaseva. It also resolved not to entertain letters and strictly confine the VIP darshan only to those who fall under the protocol category. However, TTD has decided to issue Rs.300 special entry darshan tickets in a limited number during the festive period.

On security arrangements, the Tirupati Urban police will be deploying 127 personnel especially those with experience in greyhounds during the nine-day festival. Tirupati Urban Superintended of Police Abhishek Mohantay, the team will comprise 127 members including one RI and six RSIs and undertake regular check. The officials deputed from Tirupati, Chittoor and Anantapur will conduct inspections not only at ghat roads but also at footpaths, Annamaiah Marg and other important places
