Deputy Chief Minister Nimmakayala Chinarajappa has said that MRPS proposed ‘Kurukshetra’ sabha at Amaravati announced by MRPS founder president Manda Krishna Madiga has no permission.
Manda Krishna Madiga has criticized the Chief Minister for not adopting a resolution on categorization of the SCs at the TDPs annual Mahanadu and announced the ‘rally with ten lakh people’ to highlight his demand. The Deputy Chief Minister said that the government would not allow any meeting or padayatra without proper permission. He said that it would create law and order problem.
Referring to Kapu leader Mudragada Padmanabham’s proposed ‘Chalo Amaravati padayatra from July 6 has not applied for the permission. He has been demanding BC reservation to Kapus would cover 53 villages in West Godavari, 34 in Krishna and six in Guntur.
Chinarajappa accused Jagan Mohan Reddy of instigating both Mudragada and Manda Krishna Madiga and accusing him of conspiring to divide the State along caste lines. Sources said that the government had denied permission to MRPS and Mala Mahanadu to rein in their supporters or face action. Guntur DIG Gopala Rao said that prohibitory orders were in pace and urged the both parties to show restraint.
