YSRCP chief whip in Parliament Y.V.Subba Reddy today urged the Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu to prove his commit to fight for SCS by walking out of the ruling NDA at the Centre and extending support to the no-confidence motion to be moved by his party.
Chandrababu remark that SCS was the right of the State vidicted the YSRCP’s consistent stand on the issue, even as Chandrababu has settled for the Special Assistance Measure asserting that SCS was no ‘sanjeevini’. ‘With what face he will go to the Prime Minister’, he asked adding it was nothing new for Chandrababu to change his stand frequently for gaining political mileage. The TDP chief had power promising SCS for 15 years against five years promised by the UPA Government at the time of bifurcation and 10 years committed by the BJP. The change in the stand is due to fear of incurring the wrath of the people, who believe that SCS is the panacea for all the ills afflicting to the State’, he opined.
Subba Reddy said that the party will seek the support of all in Parliament for the no-confidence motion when the Budget session resumes on March 5, he said.
