YSRCP has served privilege notices on Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu and three of his cabinet colleagues today.

YSRCP submitted to the Legislature Secretary K.Satyanarayana Rao that said that the Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, three of his ministers K.Atchan Naidu, Devineni Umamaheswara Rao and Kamineni Srinivas made abusive remarks against its members during the debate on the motion of thanks to Governor’s speech in joint session of the Legislature. The party alleged that the ministers made disparaging remarks on the Leader of the Opposition YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.

Contempt petition on Monday:

YSRCP that held a meeting at Lotus Pond here today following the denial of entry of Nagari MLA R.K.Roja into the Assembly despite Hyderabad High Court’s clear interium orders. They described the day as ‘black day’ in parliamentary democracy. The meeting has decided to move a contempt of court petition on Monday challenging the ruling party’s decision not to honour the interim orders given by the court.

Shows arrogance of TDP’, says Jagan:

Jagan Mohan Reddy described the incidents that took place on Friday in defying the court orders shows the arrogance of Telugu Desam Party leadership and is trying to gain one-upmanship with alleged connivance of Speaker Dr.Kodela Sivaprasada Rao. He said that Kodela is behaving himself like an out and out of TDP man . He further said that the Chief Minister and the Speaker are behaving themselves as above courts.

Boycotts proceedings:

The entire day proceeds were boycotted by the main Opposition on Friday following the incidents. The session conducted without the presence of the opposition party in the House. Surprisingly, the eight defected MLAs too did not participate in the Assembly proceedings.

Assembly will decide on the issue’, says Speaker:

Speaker Dr. Kodela Sivaprasada Rao said that a final decision will be taken on Monday on the High Court’s order saying that the suspension was taken by the House and as such the House has to take a decision on the court’s order. He served the copies of the High Court order to all the MLAs and asked them to study and air their views.

Suspension related issued will be taken up on Monday:

Meanwhile a Division Bench of the Hyderabad High Court comprising acting Chief Justice Dilip.B.Bhosale and Justice P.Naveen Rao on Friday said that the writ appeal being filed against the single judge who suspended the sentence imposed on Roja would be heard on Monday and directed the registry to list it on Monday.
