YSRCP opens to tie up with BJP in next general elections

Tuesday, January 23, 2018

YSRCP chief whip in Parliament Y.V.Subba Reddy today made it clear that the party would not hesitate to align with the BJP to protect the State’s interests.

Speaking to media here after chairing the District Development Coordination and Monitoring Committee meeting that the YSRCP would join hands with any party or a combination of parties coming to power at Centre after the 2019 elections in the larger interests of the State. It may be mentioned here that the party president Jagan Mohan Reddy made it clear on the issue if the Centre announced Special Category Status to the State.

Chandrababu Naidu not only failed in getting SCS to the State but also bungled in getting implemented a host of promises made to the beleaguered State at the time of bifurcation. Chandrababu was only trying to cover up his failure by saying that he was mulling approaching the Supreme Court over non-implementation of the State Reorganization Act in toto. ‘He is trying to mislead the people by saying so. The TDP is very much part of the NDA government at Centre. Is he going to file a case against the government comprising TDP Ministers’, asked Subba Reddy.
