YSRCP leader Mopidevi Venkata Ramana urges Collector to initiate probe on land grab by TDP leaders

Former Minister and Bapatla YSRCP Parliamentary in-charge Mopidevi Venkataramana has levelled serious charges against TDP leaders including Repalle MLA A.Satya Prasad accusing the latter of fudging revenue records of forest lands in Dindi mandal.

He alleged that they swindled public money to the tune of Rs.6 crore. He, along with party State unit leaders Ravi Venkataramana, Lella Appireddy and Guntur East MLA Sk.Mustafa and others submitted a memorandum to the District Collector Kona Sasidhar at the weekly grievance day and demanded a probe into the issue. In the memorandum, they alleged that the TDP leaders have colluded with revenue authorities in Dindi and have created false land records for 450 acres in survey Nos. 874 and 875 and 1,200 acres in survey Nos. 1128 and 1129. They secured bank loans to the tune of Rs.6 crores after pledging the documents in the banks.

Responding to the charges, Satya Prasad threw a challenge that he would resign and quit politics if the charges against him were proved. He also accused Venkataramana Rao of being involved in a land scam pertaining to Vanpic industries in 2008.
