Jagan held meeting with the party senior leaders, MPs, MLAs and chalked out an agitation plan. He said that the all the leaders of the party including MLAs from the State will stage a dharna at Jantar Mantar on March 5 to mount pressure on the Centre.

Jagan announced that the party MPs would continue the agitation inside the parliament during the next session and if the Centre did not announce the SCS by April 6, the MPs would step down. The decision was hailed by all political parties except TDP and BJP saying that the decision was taken at a time when TDP and BJP leaderships were under severe pressure.
