YSRCP ‘No confidence motion’ notice gets approval

The no-confidence motion notice given by YSRCP today got the approval with more than 10 per cent of the available members supported it, announced the Assembly Speaker Dr. Kodela Sivaprasada Rao. He said that the Business Advisory Council will take up the issue and discuss when to take it up for a discussion and how much time to be allotted etc.,

As per rules, the discussion on the no-confidence motion has to be taken up within 14 days from the date of the notice served. The notice has been served by the YSRCP stating that the government lost the faith of the people during the 22 month rule of the Telugu Desam Party and miserably failed in fulfilling its promises given to the people.

  • BAC has decided to take up discussion on ‘no-confidence’ motion today itself. The discussion will take up for seven hours said government whip Kalva Srinivasulu. He said that the government is ready to face discussion.
  • Even a single member of the house can move a no-confidence motion in the Assembly said Jagan Mohan Reddy. He said that the Leader of the Opposition need not sign on the no-confidence motion notice. He said that that the 8 MLAs of the party who defected to TDP following luring them . He said that government is trying to protect the defected MLAs.
