Two Summative Examinations in Schools from now onwards

The State government has decided to only two Summative Examinations have to be conducted in all schools across the State.

The School Education Department has issued a GO to this effect. According to the GO, there will be two Summative Examinations SA-1 and SA-2. The SA-1 examination will be held in the first week of November or second while the SA -2 will be held either in March/April.

For the students of X class, the SA -2 will be conducted as pre-final examination and after then the SSC board will conduct a public examination.

The SA -1 examinations for classes 8 and 9 will be held on OMR papers with objective type. This type of examination will be held for 6 and 7 classes from next year.
