Tourism Minister Akhila Priya lodges complaint on Jagan Mohan Reddy

Andhra Pradesh Minister for Tourism Bhuma Akhila Priya today lodged a complaint against YSRCP president Y.S.Jagan Mohan Reddy to the Returning Officer for Nandyal by-election.

In her complaint, she alleged that Jagan Mohan Reddy has made derogatory and objectionable remarks against Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu and violated the model code of conduct.

District TDP president Somisetty Venkateswarlu, Nandyal Parliamentary constituency in-charge S.Goverdhan Reddy and Urdu Academy Chairman Nouman along with Akhila Priya in their complaint said that Jagan Mohan Reddy’s remarks would spread fear psychosis among the people of Nandyal and sought action against him.

Meanwhile, Kurnool ZP Chairman M.Rajasekhar Goud lodged a complaint with the SP Gopinath Jatti on Friday seeking registration of a case against Jagan Mohan Reddy for making derogatory remarks against Chandrababu Naidu. He said in his complaint he sought booking of a case under Sections 123(a), 125 and 127 of the Representation of People’s Act , 1951.

Roja justifies Jagan Mohan Reddy’s remarks:: Nagari MLA R.K.Roja in a press meet said that the TDP leaders were raising hue and cry over the remarks of Jagan only to divert the people’s attention from the issue of 21 legislators defecting to the party without quitting the Assembly membership unlike Silpa Chakrapani Reddy. She said that Chandrababu too had in several occasions threatened Jagan Mohan Reddy. She listed the misdeeds of the TDP president like betraying NTR to till now. TDP leaders started counter attacking Jagan Mohan Reddy and questions his stature to target Chandrababu.
