The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam has decided to suspend issuing of Rs.50 darshan tickets and cancel VIP break on Fridays except for protocol VIPs and suspend morning slot darshan to aged and physically challenged pilgrims during summer vacations from April 15 to June 30.

TTD Executive Officer Dr. D.Sambasiva Rao said that he had directed to staff to pay attention to provide drinking water, butter milk and Annaprasadam in Vaikuntam Queue complex and queue lines outside in regular intervals with the assistance of Srivari Sevakulu. He said that food will be served from 9am to 11pm except for one hour in the evening at Sri Tarigonda Vengamamba Annaprasada Bhavan in Tirumala during summer. The EO advised the devotes to keep their footwear in separate poaches and deposit along with their cell phones and bags at the luggage counters instead of going to other counter to leave the footwear. He asked them to bring Aadhaar card without fail since it is useful to allot accommodation and provide darshan facilities.
