TDP suspends Deepak Reddy - warns Ganta and Ayyanna Patrudu

The TDP coordination committee chaired by its national president Chandrababu Naidu took a serious view of the developments in Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada and Nandyal.

The TDP deeply disturbed over land grabbing issues and war of words between two Ministers Ganta Srinivasa Rao and Ch.Ayyanna Patrudu has decided to suspend Deepak Reddy and constitute a three member committee to look into the reasons for difference of opinion among party leaders in Visakhapatnam. Chandrababu after hearing Ganta and Ayyanna Patrudu has asked the latter to maintain restraint.

The public outburst of Vijayawada MP Kesineni Srinivas (Nani), the Nandyal developments, resignation of Silpa Mohan Reddy necessitated the party leadership to constitute a committee. Following the alleged involvement of Deepak Reddy in a land grabbing case in Telangana State, Chandrababu Naidu has decided to place him under suspension. The party also suspended MLC Vakati Narayana Reddy from the party following a cheating and loan default case registered against him and his firm by the CBI.
