TDP State president K.Kala Venkata Rao and Finance Minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu categorically stated at a press conference that the party will not support the no-confidence motion to be moved by YSRCP.
After a meeting with key leaders of the TDP party by the Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, these leaders made the announcement. In response to a question posed by a journalist who said if TDP has reservations in extending support, TDP can as well move the motion. Responding to the query, Yanamala said that the TDP is still an alliance partner with the BJP . He said that the party would continue to fight for the causes by maintaining alliance with the BJP.
The statements made it clear that the TDP has been playing dramas and sources said that withdrawal of Ministers from the Union Cabinet is nothing but an eye wash. Political analysts say that Chandrababu Naidu has no commitment on SCS in the back drop of the offer given by the YSRCP that the party will support the no-confidence motion if tabled by TDP.
