TDP MLA Anitha sends notice to Roja seeking unconditional apology

  • Sets one week time for her to tender apology
  • Asks her to circulate the same to print, electronic and social media
  • Else would face damages of Rs.1 crore

TDP MLA from Payakaraopeta V.Anitha has sent a lawyer’s notice a few days ago to Nagari MLA R.K.Roja of the YSRCP seeking an unconditional apology for her for using unparliamentary language and making highly defamatory comments against her on the floor of Assembly during it last session.

Both the TDP and YSRCP exchanged heated arguments on the floor of the Assembly when the Anitha requested the Speaker to initiate disciplinary action against Roja after the latter reportedly hurled profanities against Chief Minister. Anitha said that if Roja failed to tender an unconditional apology on the floor of the Assembly and also offer an unconditional written apology and circulate it to the print, electronic and social media with a week, she would initiate criminal prosecution against her and also to file a civil suit seeking Rs.1 crore in damages.
