Supreme court today refused to give more time to Sasikala to surrender

The Supreme Court of India today on Wednesday refused to entertain a petition filed by V K Sasikala who was convicted in disproportionate assets case on Tuesday seeking more time to surrender on health grounds. It may be recalled that the Supreme Court convicts V.K.Sasikala in disproportionate assets case – decks cleared for OPS on Tuesday.

The Supreme Court has given a stern message to her lawyers on requesting more time. ‘Hope you understand the meaning of immediately Mr.Tulsi?, Justice PC Ghose told to Sasikala’s advocate KTS Tulsi. ‘We intend to pass no further orders after directing her to surrender immediately’’, said Justice Ghose.

Sources said that Sasikala, VN Sudhakaran and J Elavarasi are likely to surrender before Bengaluru trial court today.
