Stipend up by 15% to House surgeons and PGs

The State government today approved enhancement of stipend by 15% to house surgeons and postgraduates of medical colleges including those of dental colleges and PG students in super specialities with retrospective effect from January 1, 2016 to December 31, 2017.

A GO issued said that the stipend has been increased from Rs.10,580 to Rs.12,167 and the stipend for 1st PG degree is raised from Rs.23,805 to Rs.27,376., 2nd year Rs.25,128 to Rs.28,897 and 3rd year Rs.26,450 to Rs.30,418.

The stipend for 1st and second year PG diploma has been enhanced from Rs.23,805 to Rs.27,376 and Rs.25,128 to Rs.28,897 respectively. The stipend for 1st, 2d and 3rd year super speciality has been increased from Rs.26,450 to Rs.30,418, Rs.27,773 to Rs.31,459 respectively.

The stipend for 1st year MDS was increased from Rs.23,805 to Rs.27,376, 2nd year Rs.25,128 to Rs.28,897 and 3rd year Rs.26,450 to Rs.30,418.
