State government signs MoU with Singapore University

The State government today signed an MoU with National University of Singapore at Singapore.

The MoU is aimed at collaborating on three aspects of governance – strengthening knowledge and practices of governance and public administration, independent audit of real time monitoring system and key performance indicators and master plan on ease of doing business in the State.

Chief Secretary Dinesh Kumar, Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy Dean Kishore Mahbubani and Asia Competitiveness Institute co-Director Tan Khee Giap atLee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy singed the MoU. The National University of Singapore has agreed to work on a programme that designed for supporting the senior public officials on formulation of public policies and emerging governance models via case studies, seminars, research and field trips. The ACI will act as a platform for advance executive training programme for civil servants to study formulation of public policies, economic situations and investment opportunities in the State, Association of South East Asian Nations and China.

The MoU was singed in presence of Sanjay Gupta, Secretary Planning Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh and others.
