State Government gives nod for filling up of 309 teacher posts

The Andhra Pradesh State Government has given permission to fill up the vacancies of teachers through special DSC in the merged mandals in Andhra Pradesh from Khammam district and the orders have been issued on Wednesday.

The Director, Tribal Welfare informed that after bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh, the teachers working in the mandals that were merged from Khammam districts of Telangana to East Godavari and West Godavari of the residual AP have opted for their native state of Telangana. With the results, 285 teacher posts fell vacant in the four merged mandals of East Godavari and 24 teachers posts in two merged mandals of West Godavari.

The State Government has accorded permission to Tribal Welfare Department to fill up these 309 vacant posts in Tribal Welfare ashram schools .
