Sources said that the High Level Committee has reportedly decided to conduct screening tests for filling up of Assistant Professor posts in 14 universities through APPSC.
The high level committee met on Monday in Hyderabad and reportedly took the decision. It may be recalled here that the government has given a green signal for filling up of 1,385 vacant posts. In the first phase, 90 Professor posts, 168 Associate Professor, 846 Assistant Professors posts will be filled up. The screening test will be held for Associate professor posts and the selected would be appointed. The meeting decided to take the legal opinion from the Advocate General in conducting screening test. However, a final call will be taken at another meeting said sources.
