Rayanapudi to be core capital

The ancient Rayanapudi village on the banks of Krishna River would be the Centre of the new capital Amaravati.

According to the seed area capital master plan, The AP Assembly and Secretariat would come up here. It may be recalled that Rayapudi which was formed and ruled by King Sri Krishna Devaraya would be transformed into capital city with the establishment of AP State Legislative Assembly and Secretariat. The offices of the inisters would come up at Abbarajupalem, Gateway town at Undavalli and Amaravati iconic towers and commercial node would come between Uddanadarayunipalem and Tallayyapalem.
