The State government has announced that pre-schools will be established in all Anganwadi Centres across the State.
Minister for Women and Child Welfare Paritala Sunitha said that in the pre-schools, teaching will be given to nursery, LKG and UKG students. These pre-schools will have English medium and will be established in 4,000 Anganwadi Centres. She said that Narayana and Chaitanya educational institutions have offered free teaching to the students.
The Minister said that the government has put a target of constructing permanent buildings in the next two years. At present, there were 55,000 Anganwadi Centres and only 19,000 centres have been housed in permanent buildings, she said.
