Praja Sankalpa Yatra on the fifth day

Jagan Mohan Reddy will begin his ‘Praja Sankalpa Yatra’ today on the fifth day at 9am from Yerraguntla outskrits and ends at 9pm at Proddutur bypass.

He will commence his yatra from Yerraguntla municipality outskrits near Mylavaram culvert and will pass through Potladurthi to the outskrits of Proddatu. He will begin his yatra at 9am and reach Pottladurti at 11am. He will have lunch break from 1.30pm to 3pm and resume his padayatra. He will address the people at Prottudur Puttaparti circle and will have his night stay at Sai Sri Venture at the bypass of Proddutur at 9pm.

It may be recalled that on Thursday {{Jagan’s Praja Sankalp Yatra enter fourth day]] and took break on Friday as he had to attend CBI court at Hyderabad on Friday.

Jagan today promised to include the Boya/Valmiki community in the Scheduled Tribes list if the party comes to power.

The members of the community represented him at Potladurthy in the Proaddatur constituency seeking ST status. Contract lecturers, village revenue assistants and contract employees of the APSRTC, 108 ambulance service, AP Genco, AP Transco, Proaddatur area hospital staff and minority leaders called on Jagan Mohan Reddy.

Addressing a large gathering at Puttaparthi circle, he said the town had not witnessed any development for four years Chandrababu’s rule. He reminded of Chandrababu’s promises of a smart city, food park, steel plant and Urdu university in the district remained elusive. He assured the people that he would fulfil every promise to resolve the drinking water problem and complete the underground drainage system in Proaddatur.

He staged 13 km padayatra from the Proddatur bypass road and covered Potladurthy, Ayyappa Swamy temple and Kanyaka Parameswari temple streets, gold shops street, Puttaparthy circle, Sivalayam road, Sri Vivekananda wholesale cloth market and made a night halt at Sai Sree Nagar camp site in the Proaddatur Housing Board Colony. It may be recalled that Jagan’s Praja Sankalp Yatra enter fourth day has demanded the government to do justice to the medical students of Fathima Institute of Medical Sciences.
