Praja Sankalpa Yatra – Jagan promise to clear all dues of SHG groups

YSRCP chief Jagan Mohan Reddy today during the Praja Sankalpa Yatra said all dues of the SHG groups until the time of the elections would be paid by the government in four instalments if the party comes to power.

Addressing at a ‘Mahila Sadassu’ held at the Hussainapuram village of the Banaganapalle Assembly constituency in the Kurnool district, he accused the State government of deceiving the women by not adequately implementing the promise of loan waiver. He said that he needed to come to power if loan waiver for women SHGs was to be implemented. He said that two children will be given Rs.15,000 per year for their education. The government is giving only Rs.35,000 as fee reimbursement for engineering studies. He assured that YSRCP on coming to power will give as much as the fee is, he said.

Speaking later at the Gorlagutta village, he promised quarry workers that the government would solve all their problems such as lack of opportunities borne out of a sudden and unduly high increase in power charges from Rs.3.70 to Rs.8.70 and increasing costs making business unattractive.

Jagan promises 200 units of power for free::

  • Rs.15,000 to mothers who send their children to schools per year
  • Full reimbursement of fee for higher education and Rs.20,000 would be paid additionally to the students
  • Problems will be solved within 72 hours at village secretariats

Jagan mohan Reddy promises to give power for 200 units for free of cost to all poor people. On th 13th day of his padayatra, he said that full fee reimbursement will be made to the students pursuing higher education and an additional amount of Rs.20,000 will be paid to each student.

He said that Rs.2,000 pension would be given to all those eligible. The upper age limit will be brought to 45 years for the eligibility of getting pension.

Police force have been deployed at all entry points Hussanapuram of Banaganapalle mandal. Sources said that the police reportedly threatened the people not to attend the mahila Sadassu. The women protested the acts of the police and ultimately attended the Sadassu. Meanwhile, during the course of speech, Jagan appealed the police not to obstruct people attending the Sadassu. He in a sensitive manner threatened the top police officers that Chandrababu Naidu will not be the Chief Minister for ever. He appealed the police officers to work with sincerity for the government
