Police grills film maker Ram Gopal Varma for more than three and half hours

The Hyderabad Central Crime Station today grilled noted film maker Ram Gopal Varma who appeared before it in connection with a case registered against him over his film ‘God, Sex and Truth’.

Ram Gopal Varma along with his lawyer reached the station around noon and a team of five officers asked him about 30 questions relating to the case. After interrogating him form more than three and half hours, the police seized his laptop and sought passport details of Varma.

Earlier, he denied to answer five questions and claimed that he has no connection with the film. However, later, he confessed that h directed the film through video calling site said CS Raghu Vir, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (Cyber crime). Police sources said that another notice will be sent to him to appear before them for further probe in the case.
