Police files petition seeking custody of Ravela Susheel

The Banjara Hills police have filed a petition in the court seeking custody of Ravela Susheel, son of the Andhra Pradesh Minister for Social Welfare Ravela Kishore Babu for interrogation in the outraging of modesty of a woman case. The arguments on the plea will be taken up today.

The police are yet to get information from the accused. It is accused that after the locals beat him up after the incident, he left the spot and came back with his followers to the site of offense. Police sources said that the severity of the issue has become more when he came back with his followers to the site of offense. Susheel has been maintaining that he had lost his gold chain there during the attack which has forced him to come back to the site.

The police are yet to ascertain if Susheel had really come to find his lost gold chain. The police are likely to conduct a Test of Identification Parade.
