Petro dealers decides to go ahead with agitational programmes from today

Demanding hike in the margins in petrol and diesel, the dealers are going on agitational mode from Wednesday across the State by boycotting purchases.

As part of their agitation, the dealers will shut down petrol stations on every Sunday beginning from May 14. From May 15, all petrol stations will work in a stipulated time. Even then, the oil companies do not come forward in addressing their demands, they will continue their agitation according to the AP Federation of Petroleum Traders president Ravi Gopala Krishna.

The other demands include implementation of the recommendations of Apoorvachandra Committee. If they are forced to go for agitation, the petrol stations will open from 6am to 6pm from coming Monday onwards.
