Paper I leak mars the day one of SSC examinations

A paper leak of the SSC examination on the first day of Telugu Paper I on Friday in Anantapur district crated sensation and led to the suspension of the invigilator.

According to sources, police launched a probe following reports that a screen shot of Telugu Paper I was being circulated through WhatsApp a short while after the commencement of the examination. The screen shot of the question paper had originated form Chilamathur mandal headquarters but as the inquiry progressed, it emerged that it was being circulated form a mobile phone orf one Illays Ahmed. Police tried in vail to arrest Ahmed who later surrendered in the evening.

Based on the code printed on the leaked question paper, police concluded that it had come out from an examination centre located in Madakasira mandal headquarters.

Police sources said that they could establish the leak that took place from Government Boys’ High School, Madakasira. The invigilator responsible for it and the student whose question paper was photographed and shared through WhatsApp have been identified. Sources said that the accused (invigilator) was suspended with immediate effect and the student barred from examinations for the next five years.
