New twist in the forgery case against YSRCP MLA Kakani Govardhan Reddy

A new twist took place in the war of words between YSRCP MLA Kakani Govardhan Reddy and TDP MLC Somireddy Chandramohan Reddy with the police arresting there persons and seized fake stamps, immigration slips and other material in the case filed against Govardhan Reddy.

The arrested are Pasupuleti Chinrajeevi alias Mani Mohan of Adavi Koyambedu of Chittoor district, T.Venkata Krishna and G.Hari Babu, both from Tiruvalluru in Tamil Nadu.

Superintendent of Police Vishal Gunni at a press conference said that the accused were found in possession of fake documents and passports. The case was regarding the allegations Govardhan Reddy had levelled against TDP leader in documents he had produced before media on December 23, 2016.

Govardhan Reddy addressing a press conference faulted the police for linking the seized documents with the forgery case. He demanded a probe either by the CBI or the ED be ordered in the foreign transaction of Chandramohan Reddy.
