Nara Lokesh assumes office clears three files on the first day

Nara Lokesh who was inducted in to the State Cabinet recently assumed office in the fifth block today on Friday amidst vedic chants.

Lokesh has signed on three files on his first day in office on three key decisions. Any family which works for 50 days in a year will be recognized as construction worker which is expcted to benefit 30 lakh families.

Another file related to extending Rs.10,000 for marriage, Rs.20,000 for maternity and Rs.5 lakh for accident insurance.

The third file is on provision of LED bulbs to all villages. The government has provided the bulbs in 40 villages and is planning to cover the remaining 12,900 villages in three years.

After assuming office and speaking to media persons, he said that the government would take up measures to mitigate the drinking water problem. A toll free number would be started soon to solve the problem. On MNREGS, he said no other State was getting so many funds as the State under the programme.

TTD priest P.Seshadri blessed him and performed the rituals while JEO Srinivasa Raju presented him a shawl and prasadam while many Ministers and TDP leaders were present to greet Lokesh.
