Nandyal by-election-TDP allots ticket to Bhuma Brahmananda Reddy

Chief Minister and TDP national president Nara Chandrababu Naidu after several rounds of discussions with the party leaders from the distrait finally allotted TDP ticket to Bhuma Brahmananda Reddy.

Bhuma Brahmananda Reddy is the nephew of late former Minister Bhuma Nagi Reddy. Chandrababu Naidu held individual discussions with Minister for Tourism Bhuma Akhila Priya and Nagi Reddy’s close follower A.V.Subba Reddy. Speaking to media, Deputy Chief Minister K.E.Krishna murty and Minister for Information and Public Relations Kaluva Srinivasulu said that there was no difference of opinion on giving ticket to Brahmananda Reddy.

The by-election was necessitated following the death of Bhuma Nagi Reddy who switched over to TDP from YSRCP. MLA Bhuma Nagi Reddy dead. Chief Minister has appointed Minister for Municipal Administration P Narayana as the party in-charge for the election. The decision came at a time when there were differences between Bhuma Akhila Priya and Silpa families. It may be recalled that Silpa Mohan Reddy along with supporters joins YSRCP on June 14.

Sources said that Chakrapani Reddy would however continue as the party district president.
