NABARD sanctions Rs.154.93 crore loan to RIDF

The National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) has sanctioned Rs.154.93 crore to Andhra Pradesh as loan under the Rural Infrastructure Development Fund.

A press release by the NABARD CGM K.Suresh Kumar said a sum of Rs.91.20 core was sanctioned to the Animal Husbandry Department for upgrading and constructing 21 Area Veterinary Hospitals, 80 veterinary dispensaries, 124 rural livestock units and polyclinic and establishment of State Management Institute of Livestock Entrepreneurship in Visakhapatnam.

The Women Development and Child Welfare Department was given Rs.21.22 crore for construction of 223 anganwadi centres and Rs.42.50 crore for APREIS for construction of additional classrooms and other facilities in 20 residential schools.
