Monday, August 28, 2017

Kapu leader and former Minister Mudragada Padmanabham lashed out at the DGP N.Sambasiva Rao for making allegations against him on Sunday.

Speaking to media, he said that the DGP wanted to intimidate the Kapu community and suppress the movement. Stating that there was no going back on the agitation, he sid the future course of action would be decided on August 30 when the JAC leaders from all the 13 districts would meet.

Mudragada announced that they had withdrawn the padayatra on the request of police and asked the DGP why he suspended the DSP, the CI or the SI in the incident. He said that they were a disciplined community and had never resorted to violence in the past. ‘Was there any untoward incident during the six km padayatra yesterday’, he questioned.
