Missing doctor Surya Kumari’s body found after five days

The body of missing doctor Korlapati Surya Kumari (25) was found in Ryves Canal near Komatigunta village of Kankipadu mandal after five days intensive search by police. The body was in a decomposed state beyond recognition. Police found the deceased’s vehicle and deployed NDRF teams who launched an intensive search and finally found the body.

It may be recalled that the former MLA Bobbili Jayaraju’s son Bobbili Vidyasagar who is an accused of cheating and abducting a 25 year old doctor was interrogated by police. His wife B.Sushma said that the doctor’s parents were deliberately framing her husband.

Meanwhile, Sushma alleged that Surya Kumari working as a doctor at a PHC in the city has been urging her husband to marry her. Surya Kumari is the youngest sister of a Karnataka cadre IAS officer who hails from the city. It may be noted here that Sushma and Vidyasagar are married for 15 years and have two children.
