Minister Sidda Raghavara Rao inaugurates 25th National Children’s Science Congress

Minister for Forests, Science and Technology Sidda Raghava Rao today inaugurated the 25th National Children’s Science Congress held at the Rise Engineering College in Ongole.

Speaking on the occasion, he said that the State government has been according top priority to the development of science and technology infrastructure. This would go a long way in increasing the opportunities for children with a scientific bent of mind and temper for discoveries and inventions. He said that the government was creating science and technology centres at a cost of Rs.550 crore in Tirupati, Rs.25 crore in Rajamahendravaram and Rs.30 crore in Visakhapatnam.

The two-day Science Congress witnessed display of nearly 125 projects from students hailing form all the districts.
