MLA Vallabhaneni Vamsi to surrender before police

  • Vamsi sent back his two gunmen
  • Decides not to obtain station bail

In protest against slapping of cases, Gannavaram MLA Vallabhaneni Vamsi has reportedly decided to surrender himself before police along with his followers at Patamata Police station and not to obtain station bail.

Vamsi had already surrendered his two gunmen. He expressed that the hand of a key party leader in slapping of cases against him. Meanwhile, Machilipatnam MP Konakalla Narayana, District TDP president Batchala Arjunudu today rushed to Vamsi’s residence for a compromise.

A case has been booked by police against Vamsi for staging a dharna on national highway opposing land acquisition for inner ring road. Vamsi reportedly told them that he had gone to pacify the people staging dharna while the police have registered a case making him as Accused No.1.
