Kapu leaders held meeting with Chief Minister - urges for release of Rs.2,000 crore for Kapus

A host of leaders from Kapu community held a meeting with the Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu on Tuesday in which they requested for release of Rs.1,000 crore for the Kapu Corporation and complete the reservation process for them earliest.

Chief Minister has assured them that no cases fill be filed against innocent Kapu youth in connection with the Sunday’s Tuni incident in which Ratnachal Express and police stations were set on fire and created arson.

The leaders urged him to release Rs.2,000 crore for Kapus and implement the reservation system from the next academic year. They also wanted to include women in the Kapu Commission.

The leaders who met the Chief Minister included AP Kapunadu president Pilla Venkateswara Rao, Kapunadu leader Bandaru Satyanandarama, TD AP unit president Kala Venkata Rao, Kapu Corporation Chairman Chalamalasetty Ramanjaneyulu, Home Minister Nimmakayala Chinarajappa and MP Avanti Srinivas.
