Kadapa Deputy Mayor Butcher Arifullah quits YSRCP

Kadapa Deputy Mayor Butcher Arifullah today announced his decision of partying with YSRCP and joining TDP on February 24 when TDP national general secretary Nara Lokesh visits Kadapa.

Speaking to media, he said that the Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu was striving for the development of the State and he was an active member in the TDP for 25 years. He joined YSRCP as its president Jagan Mohan Reddy who hailed form Kadapa was facing hardship and fighting the Central Government. He said despite being a deputy Mayor, he could not get a road or drain sanctioned in the Corporation that has majority of YSRCP corporators and added that nearly Rs.1 crore worth of works were taken up in half a dozen municipal divisions, but not a single work was sanctioned in the divisions inhabited by minorities.

TDP playing mind game

YSRCP district president A.Amarnath Reddy, Kadapa MLA S.B.Amjad Basha and Kadapa Mayor E.Suresh Babu told the media that the TDP is playing a mind game and attempting to create ripples in the Opposition party. They dismissed the rumors of switching over of corporators from YSRCP.
