Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu has instructed the officials to clear off the applications received during Janmabhoomi – Vaa Vooru programme at the earliest said the State government Adviser (Communications) Parakala Prabhakar said.
Speaking at a press conference at the Secretariat, he said that during the last three days, over 3 lakh petitions were received across the State. Of all the petitions, majority were related to housing, ration cards, and pensions. More than 15.32 lakh people attended gram sabhas, he said. The total number of grievances received on the first day was 67,003 and the number had gone to 1.65 lakh on the second day and over 67,000 till last day. As many as 59,908 ration cards were distributed and 30,759 new pensions were sanctioned during the last three days.
Parakala Prabhakar said that the government distributed tool kits, conducted health and veterinary camps. The government was conducting two types of activities under the programme.
