Jana Sena president and actor Pawan Kalyan demanded the State government to release a White Paper on AgriGold properties.
Participating in an interactive programme with the AgriGold victims at the Tummalapalli Kalashetram organied by the AgriGold Customers and Agents Welfare Association, he advised the political leaders not to make efforts to grab the properties of AgriGold victims. ‘You will earn the wrath of the poor people and lose your good will’, he said. ‘Instead of allowing politicians to enhance their fortune on the misery of poor people, the government should involve financial experts and take the help of the court to take over the assets and distribute compensation among the victims’, said Pawan Kalyan.
He said after Sahara, AgriGold is the second biggest scam involving customers from nine States. He assured them that he will take up the issue with the Prime Minister.
He took a dig at Kesineni Srinivas, MP and Bonda Uma Maheswara Rao for their domination over the bureaucrats. He said that the first big challenge for the government was to prevent suicides that reached to 109. He asked the government to release funds to the tune of Rs.1,182 crores to rescue the small investors who invested Rs.20,000 or less.
