The Jana Sena Party will be holding its plenary soon according to sources.
At a meeting with the top brass of the party, its’ chief Pawan Kalyan in Hyderabad on Sunday reportedly charted the course of action for the next six months and discussed how to strengthen the party from the gross root levels. The focus was on the agenda of the plenary, membership drive and Pawan’s visits in the Telugu Speaking States.
It may be recalled that Pawan Kalyan announced in Vijayawada on August 1 that he would enter into active politics in October. Since, then he has been working it out while recruiting analysts, content writers, and speakers who would take the party’s philosophy to the masses.
Pawan Kalyan has raised his voice on some important public issues. And when it came to criticism by some within the TDP, he maintained restraint for various reasons. He counselled the same to his cadres saying that the party should get its timing right in answering the critics. It remains to be seen how Jana Sena will adapt to the fast changing political scenario vis-à-vis the TDP’s victory in the recent by-elections and the BJP’s expansionist programme.
