Jagan promises to introduce ‘Rythanna Bhima Scheme’

Jagan Mohan Reddy announced of introducing Farmers Insurance Scheme after coming to power. He said that the families of those farmers who committed suicides would be given Rs.5 lakh as financial assistance through insurance.

He announced the same at Pathikonda constituency at a Rythu Sadassu as part of his ‘Praja Sankalpa Yatra’ . On the 25th day of padayatra, Jagan has covered 356.8km with 10.6 km on the day itself. The padayatra began at 8.30am at Manadantapuram cross and ended at 5.40pm at Basinepalli. He held interactions with the farmers at Erragudi.

Jagan interacted with people from various sections including women, BCs, farmers, labourers and quarry workers. They put forth their problems before Jagan particularly about pensions, houses, ration cards etc., the farmers informed him that loan waiver was not implemented and input subsidy, fake seeds etc.,
