Jagan promises nine-hour power supply to farm sector

Sunday, February 11, 2018

YSRCP chief Jagan Reddy today promised 9-hour power supply to farm sector and crops during daytime.

On the 84th day of his ‘Praja Sankalpa Yatra’, farms and villagers met him at Kothapalem. He explained that a lot had to be done to help cultivators in the crisis ridden agriculture and that the present government had neglected the crucial sector. Jagan promised to solve the problems of the farmers who were not able to repay the loans and whose loans were not being waived as per the promise made during the last general elections. Several villagers complained him that they were denied old age pensions, widow and physically challenged pensions under some pretext or other.

Jagan would resume his yatra on Monday from Anantapuram village in Kaligiri mandal in the Udayagiri Assembly constituency limits. He will cover Siddana Konduru, Perrikota, Ayyapureddypalem and Pedddakonduru villages.
