Jagan Reddy dares Chandrababu to pull out of NDA and join MPs’ protest for SCS

Saturday, March 3, 2018

YSRCP president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy today challenged the Chief Minister N.Chandrababu Naidu to walk out of the BJP led NDA government at the Centre on March 5 to prove his sincerity on Special Category Status.

Jagan had responded favorably to JSP president Pawan Kalyan’s suggestion to move a no-confidence motion against the NDA Government after holding a meeting with the party MPs, MLAs and MLCs. ‘Now, it is Pawan Kalyan’s responsibility to persuade the TDP to either move a no-confidence motion or back the one to be tabled by the YSRCP on March 21 for the SCs’, he said.

As a last resort, all the 25 MPs from the State should be prepared to resign on April 6 to force the Centre to concede SCS, said Jagan Reddy during his Praja Sankalpa Yara in Chimakurthy and Thallur mandals of Prakasam district. He said that the party would boycott the budget session of the Assembly and join the MPs to stage protests in New Delhi.

Jagan said that Chandrababu can change his stance every now and then for political gains, He said that Chandrababu said that SCS was Sanjeevini during 2014 elections and not so in the last four years when he settled for the Special Assistance Measures which did not materialize. Now, SCS is Sanjeevini again when elections are approaching nearer.
