Jagan Reddy crosses 1,000 km mark of his ‘Praja Sankalpa Yatra’

YSRCP president Jagan Mohan Reddy today crossed his 1,000 km ‘Praja Sankalpa Yatra’ today.

‘The 1,000 km mark. Each step I take makes me aware of your affection and support. I have seen the love and respect for Dr.YSR and felt your pain, anger and distrust towards the current Govt. Your blessings strengthen my resolve to continue’, his tweet said.

On this occasion, he unveiled a pylon that was erected by the party leaders at Sydapuram mandal headquarters here. On the 74th day of his yatra, Jagan had covered Gudur town outskirts, Goginenipuram, Chennur, Venkatagiri cross roads, Thurpurpoondla cross roads and Sydapuram. At several places, he reached out to greet the passengers travelling in buses and also gave opportunity for taking ‘selfie’ with sympathisers.

Meanwhile, YSRCP conducted rallies at various places commemorating the completion of 1,000 km mark across the State. In Tirupati, official spokesperson Bhumana Karunakar Reddy led the ‘Walk with Jagan’ from the Jeevalingeswara Swamy temple where the activists carried life-size image of Jagan. The two km.long rally culminated at the Sri Krishna Devaraya statue.

In Chittoor, YSRCP parliamentary constituency in-charge JMC Srinivasulu organized padayatra through the arterial junctions. In Ongole, former Minister Balineni Srinivasa Reddy accused Chandrababu Naidu of letting down the people on SCS and said his party would wage relentless struggle for it. In Kurnool, Rayachoti MLA G.Srikanth Reddy and party men garlanded YSR statue at the bus stand circle. Former Machilipatnam MLA Perni Nani took out a rally from the district court junction to the Koneru centre where party supporters raised slogans in support of grand success of the padayatra. Nani and former Municipal Chairman Silar Dada said at least 153 supporters had donated blood during the camp organized at the Koneru centre.
