April 3: Chief Justice of India asked his fellow judges to skip the summer vacation and work towards clearing atleast 10 cases each day. The Supreme Court is about to hear over 5000 cases during summer recess to reduce pendency.
April 3: Soldier with two grenades in his baggage was arrested at morning at Jammu and Kashmir's Srinagar airport. The jawan, Gopal Mukhiya belongs to the 17 JAK Rifles and serves near the Line of Control in the Uri sector of Kashmir. He is bound to Delhi.
