The timings of operation of scheduled commercial aircrafts at Visakhapatnam International Airport have been changed from January 26 to February 7 in view of International Fleet Review to facilitate the conduct of rehearsals and exercise by the Indian Navy.
The operations of scheduled flights would be suspended for nearly three hours a day during different timings on each of the above days. The changes have been posted on the respective websites according to Airport Director.
Passengers can contact the individual airline operator if they need any clarifications about the arrival/departure of their flights.

Traffic management unveiled
The City traffic police has made elaborate plans to manage the traffic in view of the International Fleet Review.City Police Commissioner Amit Garg said that passes are being issued in two colors – Red and Blue and beach area is being factored into two. People with Blue passes will occupy the right flank on the NCB side, people with red passes will occupy the left flank on the Park Hotel side.
People with Blue pass will be allowed form the Naval Coast Battery side and they can come by vehicle and will have to part at Andhra Medical College ground, Zilla Parishad Office, Chief Engineer ZP Office, AMC Doctors Colony and Pandimetta Junction connecting roads. From there they have to walk down to NCB and enter the beach area through a ramp that being specially built. People with red pass can come by vehicle and park their vehicles on the streets at East Point Colony, AU Engineering College Ground, AS Raja College Ground, Lawson Bay Colony road and AU South Campus and walk down to the beach to Park Hotel.
The City Police Commissioner said that auto rickshaws will be banned on the Beach Road from January 27 to February 7 between 2pm and 10pm. People with valid passes will only be allowed in to the parking areas.
Filming not allowed::Professional drones fitted with cameras or quadcopters with cameras will not be allowed to film or photograph the IFR even on February 7, 2016. Passes have been issued only to 1.5 lakh people and the pass holders will also have to carry some identify card.
