IAS officer Ratna Prabha gets relief in Raheja land allotments case in High Court

High Court has stayed the proceedings and further actions against senior IAS officer Karnataka Government Special Principal Secretary Ratna Prabha in Raheja land allotments case in which ACB court has issued summons and posted the case for two weeks.

Justice Raja Ealngo has issued interim orders today. The ACB alleged that she had decreased the share of APIIC from 11 per cent to 0.55 per cent resulting in a loss of Rs.600 crore to the government. The ACB court has on December 30 issued summons to the accused IAS officers B.P.Acharya, Ratna Prabha, L.V.Subramanyam, IPS officer Gopi Krishna and Raheja MD Neel Raheja ordering them to appear before it on February 12, 2016.

Y.Srinivasamurty, counsel for Ratna Prabha arguing the case said that the court taking into cognizance of the ACB report in September 2014 has closed the file and his client has no relation whatsoever with the case. The justice agreeing with the contentions of the petitioner has issued interim orders staying all further proceedings in the case.
