High Court stays the release of ‘Mental Police’ movie

The Hyderabad High Court today stayed the release of ‘Mental Police’ movie with the main lead by actor Srikanth.

The Police Officers Association has filed a petition in the High Court seeking a direction. The police officers told to the court that the title of the movie is objectionable and is in such a way that hurts the feelings of the police. The court heard the arguments of both the parties and issued stay orders for the release of the movie.

It may be recalled that the tittle of the movie is very objectionable as it hurts the honour of police. They have sent a legal notice to the producer and the main actor Srikanth demanding change of the title.

Hero Srinkath’s long delayed project Mental Police is all set to release in the next month. Heroine Aksha will be seen as the love interest of Srikanth in the movie. This action entertainer is being directed by Karanam Babji and Produced by AVV Durga Prasad on Anagani films banner. Posani Krishna Murali has played an important role in the movie.
