HTF Urban Infrastructure signs MoU for setting up of waste-to-energy plant

The State Government and the HTF Urban Infrastructure of New Delhi have signed a Memorandum of Understanding in the CII Partnership Summit for setting up of a waste-to-energy plant.

The MoU was singed on the first day of the summit in presence of the Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu and the Union Minister for Urban Development M.Venkaiah Naidu.

The HTF Urban Infrastructure will invest Rs.135 crore to set up the plant to generate energy from municipal solid waste and it will create direct and indirect employment to 2,500 persons according to a statement by GVMC.
