Government hikes user charges in Stamps and Registration department

The State Government has hiked the user charges being collected in Stamps and Registration department with effect from December 10, 2015.

The user charges for lease, pledge, agreements registration will be Rs.100 from the existing Rs.20.

The user charges for Power of Attorney document registration will be Rs.100 from Rs.50.

Rs.100 will be collected for all documents registration within Rs.50,000 that be recorded in Card Book-1. Likewise all documents whose fees beyond Rs.50,000 would be hiked from the existing Rs.95 to Rs.200.

The society by-laws certified copy user charges has been doubled from Rs.50 to Rs.100. These charges are up to documents within ten pages and beyond that additional charges will be collected.

Sale of Registration stamps through post offices

Deputy Chief Minister K.E.Krishna Murty, speaking to press at Vijayawada State Guest house, on Tuesday said that the government has entered into agreement with Post Office for sale of Registration stamp papers. He said that arrangements are on for getting stamp papers above Rs.1,000 through online. He said that 35,150 registrations have been done under ‘anywhere registration’ system. The government has set up a target of Rs.3,500 crore during 2015-16 financial year.
